I installed the weather indicator default available from Ubuntu Precise’s repository, it’s simple and exellent. I found another weather indicator called my-weather-indicator that shows a little more information than the default.

my-weather-indicator shows the temperature on panel, and in its menu there’re Feels liks (temperature) and Dew Point.

See my-weather-indicator(left) and default repository indicator(right):

my-weather-indicator also has a feature that auto-detect your location based on IP.

Install My Weather Indicator:

You can download and build the source code from launchpad.net/my-weather-indicator.

Or, use the PPA. Just execute following commands in terminal:

sudo apt-add-repository ppa:atareao/atareao
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install my-weather-indicator
