Unity 2D Settings is a simple GUI for configuring Unity 2D Desktop.

Unity 2D Settings has following features:

  • configure Unity Launcher Hide-Mode
  • enable/disable dash hotkey(Win-key)
  • show icons on desktop
  • show volumes and devices
  • enable compositing and compositor effects

Install Unity 2D Settings in Ubuntu:

Open up a terminal window, execute following commands to install unity-2d-settings from PPA:

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:krytarik/tuxgarage
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install unity-2d-settings
