FileZilla is a full-featured FTP client with an easy-to-use GUI. It is written in C++ and uses the wxWidgets library.

FileZilla is available in Ubuntu default repository, so just search and install from Ubuntu Software Center. And after installation, run the client under Applications -> Internet -> FileZilla.
