Ubuntu Tweak 0.8.2 was just released with the support for Ubuntu 12.10 Quantal. This simple and brief tutorial will show you what’s new in Ubuntu Tweak 0.8.2 and how to install it.
In this release, it improves the Apps with installation status. Now you will see a green icon that indicate if an app is installed. And as you can see, some latest apps for Ubuntu have been added, like Polly, Stormcloud.
Ubuntu Tweak 0.8.2 also provided some Ubuntu 12.10 specific tweaks, like “Web Apps Integration”. If you don’t need the Web Apps feature in Ubuntu 12.10, you can turn it off easily.
Desktop Recovery and Shortcuts has been removed because it only works with Gconf.

The PPA is ready for Ubuntu 12.10, 12.04, and 11.10. Hit Ctrl+Alt+T to open terminal, run following 3 commands to install from the ppa:
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:tualatrix/ppa
sudo apt-get update
