Ubuntu Tweak 0.6.1 released Precise 12.04 support Added

Popular system tweaking tool ‘Ubuntu Tweak’ released its 0.6.1 version with support for Ubuntu 12.04 Precise.


New version has some bug fixes and following changes:

  • Add support for Ubuntu 12.04 Precise.
  • Under 12.04 remove ‘Change Login Background’, Precise does this automatically when you change desktop background.
  • Support changing the Dash color in Precise.
  • Adjust desktop font settings.
  • ‘Session Control’ hidden under Lubuntu

Install Ubuntu Tweak 0.6.1:

Download .deb package from https://launchpad.net/ubuntu-tweak/+download. Install it in CLI with sudo dpkg -i PACKAGENAME, it may ask for installing dependencies.

Or, using this ppa:

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:tualatrix/ppa
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install ubuntu-tweak
