Me TV is a GTK desktop application for watching digital television services that use the DVB standard. Me TV was developed for the modern digital lounge room with a PC for a media centre that is capable of normal PC tasks (web surfing, word processing and watching TV).

Me TV works with DVB-T, DVB-S, DVB-C and ATSC devices that are supported by Linux kernel drivers.


Ubuntu user can install Me-TV from the development ppa (Supports 9.10 karmic and higher). Run following commands in a terminal (Applications -> Accessories -> Terminal) window:

sudo apt-add-repository ppa:me-tv-development/ppa
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install me-tv

After installation, find it under Applications -> Sound & Video menu.
