<p><strong>Install Gloobus</strong></p>

open terminal from Applications/Accessories menu,add the repository:</p>
<blockquote><p>sudo add-apt-repository ppa:gloobus-dev/gloobus-preview</p></blockquote>
<p>update,install gloobus and upgrade to the patched nautilus:</p>
<blockquote><p>sudo apt-get update<br />
sudo apt-get install gloobus-preview<br />
sudo apt-get upgrade</p></blockquote>
<p>restart nautilus by:</p>
<blockquote><p>nautilus -q<br />
nautilus &amp;</p></blockquote>

<p>Now,launch Gnome-Art NextGen by typing &#8220;gnomeartng&#8221;(without quotes) in terminal.</p>
<p><strong><em>Step2:</em></strong>Install window border theme.</p>
<p>If installed gnome-art,navigate to <strong>Art Manager -&gt; Art-&gt; Desktop Themes -&gt; Window Border</strong>,and choose theme &#8220;Metativo&#8221;(you can choose one as you like.)</p>
<p>For Gnome-Art NextGen:<br />
In <em>Window Decoration</em> tab,choose one theme.<br />

Then,run this in terminal:</p>

<p>navigate to <em>desktop-&gt;gnome-&gt;session-&gt;required_component</em>.In right box,double click &#8220;panel&#8221; and change its value to &#8220;cairo-dock&#8221;<br />

1.Download ubuntu karmic iso image  from<a href="http://www.ubuntu.com" target="_blank"> www.ubuntu.com</a><br />
Download the latest grub4dos from <a href="http://download.gna.org/grub4dos/" target="_blank">here</a><br />
2.Extract <strong>grldr</strong> and <strong>meun.lst</strong> from <em>grub4dos</em> package to root directory of C:. Copy and paste the iso image into root directory of C:\<br />
3.Extract <strong>initrd.lz </strong> and <strong>vmlinuz</strong> from <em>ubuntu9-10.iso/casper/</em> to root directory of C:(<strong>C:\initrd.lz,C:\vmlinuz</strong>).<br />
4.Edit menu.lst by notebook,copy and paste following into the file.</p>

title Ubuntu 9.10 install

kernel /vmlinuz boot=casper iso-scan/filename=/ubuntu-9.10-desktop-amd64.iso ro quiet splash

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>If you have upgraded your ubuntu from 9.04 to 9.10,and the display of screen was messed.You can try following to uninstall the graphics card driver to fix this error.</p>
<p>First,restart the computer and select boot up from ubuntu <em>recovery mode</em>(by default the second one) in menu list.Select <em>root</em> in next options and you will get into command line.<br />
Install envyng by using this :</p>
<pre lang="bash">apt-get update
apt-get install envyng-core</pre>
<p>Then run envyng:</p>
<pre lang="bash">envyng -t</pre>
<p>now you can select to uninstall the graphics card driver that you have installed in ubuntu 9.04.<br />
Restart,and you should be done. </p>
