gnome-raw-thumbnailer is a thumbnailer for GNOME that will make thumbnails for camera RAW files by extracting their preview.

gnome-raw-thumbnailer is available from the Ubuntu official repository by this command in Applications -> Accessories -> Terminal :
sudo apt-get install gnome-raw-thumbnailer
After installation, restart the Nautilus with following command, or just logout and back in.
sudo nautilus -q
