gnome-raw-thumbnailer is a thumbnailer for GNOME that will make thumbnails for camera RAW files by extracting their preview.

gnome-raw-thembnailer depends on :

  • gconf2 (>= 2.10.1-2)
    GNOME configuration database system (support tools)
  • libc6 (>= 2.7)
    Embedded GNU C Library: Shared libraries
    also a virtual package provided by libc6-udeb
  • libgconf2-4 (>= 2.23.2)
    GNOME configuration database system (shared libraries)
  • libglib2.0-0 (>= 2.12.0)
    The GLib library of C routines
  • libgnomevfs2-0 (>= 1:2.17.90)
    GNOME Virtual File System (runtime libraries)
  • libgtk2.0-0 (>= 2.17.10)
    The GTK+ graphical user interface library

gnome-raw-thumbnailer is available from the Ubuntu official repository by this command in Applications -> Accessories -> Terminal :

sudo apt-get install gnome-raw-thumbnailer

After installation, restart the Nautilus with following command, or just logout and back in.

sudo nautilus -q
