Minitube is a native YouTube client. With it you can watch YouTube videos in a new way: you type a keyword, Minitube gives you an endless video stream.

Minitube does not require the Flash Player.

Minitube is not about cloning the original YouTube web interface, it aims to create a new TV-like experience.

Install Minitube in Ubuntu 10.04, 10.10, 11.04, 11.10, 12.04:

Minitube is available in Ubuntu’s universe repository by default, but it’s old. The latest version is 1.7.

LffL Minitube ppa contains packages of the latest version of Minitube for Ubuntu 10.04 and higher. To install it, run:

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:ferramroberto/minitube
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install minitube
