Pino-simple and fast twitter/Identi.ca client for Linux Desktop

There are several twitter client in Ubuntu Linux,include gTwitter,Twitux,Qwit,Gwibber,Mitter,qTwitter,ChoqoK.And here’s another choice Pino,it is simple and fast,and it’s written in Vala language and compiled to the native binary code.

For Ubuntu users,we can get it by adding repository:

open terminal from Applications->Accessories menu and type these commands:

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:vala-team/ppa
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:troorl/pino

then update system and install it:

sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install pino

then,launch Pino from Applications->Internet menu.

For other Linux users,see http://pino-app.appspot.com/downloads

Finally,add your twitter account at Edit->Preferences->Account tab.
