Have you ever worked on a computer without a keyboard,or your keyboard just doesn’t work, and therefore you need an on-screen keyboard instead?

OnBoard is an simple On-screen Keyboard with macros and easy layout creation. It is default installed in my Ubuntu 10.04 Gnome, but not shown in the Main Menu.

To show the launcher for onBoard,right-click on top-left MainMenu(Applications menu in default gnome top panel) and select “Edit Menus”.Then in following picture, check “onBoard” and “onBoard Settings”.

Now,you can launch onBoard from Applications->Universal Access menu.

In addition,if onBoard is not installed by default, you can try install it from Ubuntu Software Center or get onBoard from https://launchpad.net/onboard
