The first version of Grub Customizer was released more than a month ago, and it only supported add/remove entries and change entries order. Now Grub Customizer 2.0 comes with a great improving.
The new graphical interface for Grub 2/Burg supports setting default entry, customizing resolution, and changing background image/text colors. The only unsatisfied is that I can’t select the menu text background color to transparent. In general, Grub Customizer 2.0 makes us no longer worry about how to change Grub 2 appearance.

All these new features can get in Preferences window:

Install Grub Customizer from PPA:

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:danielrichter2007/grub-customizer
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install grub-customizer

Launch from Applications -> System Toiols -> Grub Customizer.
