I have been playing with this over the last week, in place of the pendrive linux installer. I love the ability of portable-virtualbox and that is the feature that attracted me to it. However I haven't been able to get Ubuntu 10.04 Beta to fully boot within virtual box. I have no problems if I boot directly from the USB, so the install isn't damaged. Also, if I install 9.10 virtualbox with run. Have you played with or got 10.04 beta to run in virtualbox?
