Install Opera in Ubuntu
Download latest Opera from this page.In “Choose compression method”,select the default package and you’ll get .deb package.
Use this command in terminal(Applications->Accessories->Terminal) to install this or just double click on it to install:
sudo dpkg -i opera_10.00.4585.gcc4.qt3_amd64.deb
Of course,change “opera_10.00.4585.gcc4.qt3_amd64.deb” to the package name you downloaded.
Now,you can launch this web browser from Applications->Internet->Opera
