Install Google chrome web browser in Ubuntu

Chromium is an open-source web browser which build a safer, faster, and more stable way for Internet users to experience the web.It has a laconic and friendly window with preferences at right side of the address bar.Following is a Chromium web browser window.
First,edit the source.list file and add following to the end of the file:
sudo gedit /etc/apt/sources.list
For ubuntu 9.10(karmic):
deb http://ppa.launchpad.net/chromium-daily/ppa/ubuntu karmic main deb-src http://ppa.launchpad.net/chromium-daily/ppa/ubuntu karmic main
For ubuntu 9.04
deb http://ppa.launchpad.net/chromium-daily/ppa/ubuntu jaunty main deb-src http://ppa.launchpad.net/chromium-daily/ppa/ubuntu jaunty main
For ubuntu 8.10
deb http://ppa.launchpad.net/chromium-daily/ppa/ubuntu intrepid main deb-src http://ppa.launchpad.net/chromium-daily/ppa/ubuntu intrepid main
And add the GPG key:
sudo apt-key adv --recv-keys --keyserver keyserver.ubuntu.com 0xfbef0d696de1c72ba5a835fe5a9bf3bb4e5e17b5
Then,update the source list and install chromium
sudo apt-get update sudo apt-get install chromium-browser
After installation you can open up the browser at Applications–>Internet–>Chromium Web Browser,right click on it and select “add this launcher to panel”

It work well in ubuntu 9.04,try download from here http://www.google.com/chrome/intl/en/linux.html
