How to make program autorun at login

There is a simple way to make program auto run when you login if you have the GUI running

start by System–>Preferences–>Startup Applications(or,sessions in other versions),then click Add

at Add-Startup-Program window type  a name at Name field as you want and type  command that startup the program

click Add,logout and login ,the program will startup when you login.
