Samba shared folders don't work after reboot on buntu 10.04.

Here's the solution:

Start the nmdb Samba service by typing (in a terminal window:

sudo nmdb

(type in password if necessary)

The one thing most of these tutorials forget is to tell us to start BOTH of the Samba services, (smdn & nmdb) and to configure them to autostart at boot. When you install Samba, the installation process starts the nmdb process, but the installer does not set up nmdb to autostart on a rebbot.

You can set everything up according to these tutorials, but once you reboot, your shared folders won't work! (in Ubuntu 10.04). After hours of headache, I discovered that the "other" Samba service, that is never named in these tutorials, was not auto loading.
