Since Ubuntu 9.10,Ubuntu Software Center take the place of Add/Remove... in Applications menu. Some may prefer the old Add/Remove to Ubuntu Software Center and want to get this back.

Option1:

System->Administration->Synaptic Package Manager->Search "gnome-app-install" and mark to install

Option2

Applications->Ubuntu Software Center->Search "Add/Remove Applications" and click to install

Then, you can open Add/Remove app from System->Administration->Add/Remove Applications

add-remove
