How to Create your own Wallpaper Clock on Ubuntu

Wallpaper Clock is a desktop wallpaper which refreshes every minute to keep your time and date precise as well as stylish in many artistic ways!

To create your own Wallpater Clock on ubuntu,first you need install screenlets

Then download wallpaper clock screenlet here. It’s a .tar.bz2 file.

Open screenlet (Applications–>Accessories–>Screenlets),click on Install and navigate to the .tar.bz2 fileĀ  you just downloaded.

Type in wallpaper and the clock screenlet should come up,double click on it to load.You will see the icon on the desktop.

Then go to http://www.vladstudio.com/wallpaperclock/,download one WCZ file as you want and and then drag it into the screenlet on your desktop.

Now right click on the icon and go to Change Wallpaper Clock > My Wallpapers,select it.

This is one of my wallpaper.

Tips:

To hide the icon on the desktop,right click and navigate to Properties–>Options–>Clock,check “Hide when mouse not over”.
