Nanoshot is a GTK graphic tool that makes easy and convenient to take screenshot.Priority principles: lightness and comfort. Nanoshot can take screenshots of screen area, selected windows, web pages and videos.
Install
Ubuntu 10.10, 10.04,and 9.10 can install from PPA by running following commands in Applications -> Accessories -> Terminal:
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:nanoshot/ppa sudo apt-get update sudo apt-get install nanoshot
On ubuntu 9.04 using:
sudo sh -c 'echo "deb http://ppa.launchpad.net/nanoshot/ppa/ubuntu jaunty main" >> /etc/apt/sources.list' sudo apt-get update sudo apt-get install nanoshot
After installation,launch Nanoshot from Applications -> Graphics -> Nanoshot.A shortcut icon appears on right of top-bar and shows options by single-clicking:
