When you’re operating on Ubuntu and want to visit Windows partitions,you can open up nautilus file-browser and just click the partition in left to view its files.However,it’s boring that a window pop up ask for password every time you click to mount a new partition.
mount_password
This post shows how to disable this Authenticate window when click to view windows partition in file browser.

mount_password1

First,go to Applications->Accessories->terminal to open up command line and type:

gksudo gedit /usr/share/polkit-1/actions/org.freedesktop.devicekit.disks.policy

then,find out this line(should be line 34):

mount_password2

change it to :
mount_password3

Save the file and done.
