ClassicMenu Indicator is a indicator applet for Unity, that provides the main menu of Gnome2/Gnome Classic. It is developed and tested on Ubuntu 11.04 “Natty Narwhal”. So far, it is alpha software and still may have some bugs. Use it at your own risk.
ClassicMenu Indicator needs the following packages from the software sources:
ClassicMenu Indicator is available from the PPA ppa:diesch/testing. If you add this PPA to your software sources Ubuntu’s Update manager will automatically install newer versions of ClassicMenu Indicator when they are available.
sudo apt-add-repository ppa:diesch/testing sudo apt-get update sudo apt-get install classicmenu-indicator
Alternatively, download and install the .deb package which will automatically install previous required packages if needed.
