		<description>When it prompts you to enter the installation directory, don&#039;t put the whole command in again, just hit return. It will then load calibre into your home folder. Your problem was that it was taking the command as a directory location.</description>

I don&#039;t know if you can help but I tried to download Caibre so that I can use my Kindle with my PC and add music to it etc. I run Ubuntu and followed the instructions above. It seemed to go well and downloaded then seemed to stop and  got the following messages below. I am a very basic PC user and I don&#039;t know anything about downloading or manageing systems apart from following basic instructions,
Any advice would be appreciated.
