I have a post about enable simple aero snap function in Ubuntu with CCSM, that’s using three commands to move selected window to left/right/middle and mapping to edge blindings. It’s easy by moving cursor to corner but the “snapping” also happens when you inadvertently click on the edge of the screen.

Here’s a Grid plugin for Compiz from webupd8, which moving selected window to corner by Ctrl+Alt+(1~7) key combination or moving-cursor-to-corner+ right-click.

Install Grid plugin

Open a terminal window under Applications -> Accessories -> Terminal, download the script and start installation.

wget http://webupd8.googlecode.com/files/grid-corners
chmod +x grid-corners

The script will install compizconfig-settings-manager, compiz-fusion-plugins-extra, and xautomation and enable the plugin by default.
